Training for guesthouses and agrotourism farms

Three 2-day trainings will be organized in 3 regions of Albania: Shkodra, Malësi e Madhe and Dibra..

The trainings aim to aware and train on risk management and safety issues managers of small and medium-sized accommodation facilities: guesthouses, agritourism units, bed and breakfasts (B&B), hotels, and campings.

During the training participants will be able to:

- Get information about the legal framework for risk and safety management in Albania;

- Learn how to identify risks in accommodation units;

- Meet the general risk management steps as standard operating procedures, emergency preparedness plans, and incident reports;

- Learn general rules on fire and food safety, labor protections, and hygiene in accommodation facilities;

- And get the requirements for accommodation facilities to provide service for people with disabilities.

After the interventions in terms of training owners and managers of the accommodation facilities will be more aware of specific issues related to safety.
