Training for mountaineering tour guides

The risk and safety management  training for tour guides in Albania, offer to the licensed tour guides and other people that serve in the tourism sector, theoretical  (2 days indoor) and practical (2 days outdoor) tools on risk and safety management aiming to raise capacities of mountaineering tourism sector in the country.

The information will cover topics on risk and safety management systems, specific measures for outdoor activities, incidents reporting, food safety, first aid training updated basics and soft skills.

Objective of the training;

- Ensure tour guides and others youngsters engaged to accompany international tour operator’s groups are trained in risk management skills due for hiking, trekking, other specialty adventure tours;

- Provide basic and advanced first aid course;

- Incident management and emergency preparedness planning as part of management system;

- Reinforce soft skills important for safety management.
